Like the Beylauncher, this is a string shooter, yet it is meant for left-spin beyblades. Since it is the only left launcher out at the moment, bladers who want to use L Drago have to take this shooter, so they cannot try altering their performance with another launcher. Supposedly, the Launcher L is more powerful than a normal MFB launcher would be, yet the string is very fragile. 

This launcher is specifically designed to match L Drago : the handle and some parts of the shooter are decorated with scales and the dragon symbol is incrusted onto the launcher.
