CoroCoro Chapter 2 Scans + Surprise Coming - 11/27/2008

Thanks to Miingno, here is the second chapter of Metal Fight Beyblade : (Once again, ask permission before using.)

p174-175 p176-177 p178-179 p180-181 p182-183 p184-185 p186-187 p188-189 p190-191 p192-193 p194-195 p196-197 p198-199 p200-201 p202-203 p204-205 p206-207 p208-209 p210-211

Concerning Metal Fight Beyblade, the first official volume will be released on December 25th and will probably be available at numerous online stores, so be sure to buy one to encourage Adachi Takafumi, the author !

As for the surprise, I think it will completely change the face of Beyblade Spirit. It should not be too long now ...

Metal Fight Beyblade DS, Bey Reshuffle Sets, L Drago 105F & Ginga pictures - 11/15/08

A short trailer for the Metal Fight Beyblade game that Hudson Soft will produce for Nintendo DS has been released :
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=AE5U7GZOzbA
http://www.hudson.co.jp/beyblade_ds
This video game will be released in spring 2009 in Japan. Huson Soft plans on selling 40 000 copies of it.

The content of the two Bey Reshuffle sets are :
BB-21 : Aquario 105F, Black Pegasis 100HF, Wolf 125SF, Black String Shooter
BB-22 : Virgo DF145BS, Leone D125B, Libra 145S, Launcher Grip

The name of El Drago is actually L Drago for 'Left Drago'. It is the next release and will come with a light blue string shooter which is set in left spin. There is also a new evil character who uses that beyblade in the manga.

Moreover, two new pictures of Hagane Ginga have been added to his profile. I think I will keep adding every image of him until there are too many : then, I will make some kind of galleries for the characters.

MFB Anime Broadcast Postponed, New Beyblades & Holy Beasts - 11/12/08

The Metal Fight Beyblade anime that was supposed to start being broadcast in January 2009 in Japan has been postponed to April 2009. Be sure that there will be a new anime though, no matter how many times they might change the date.

In other news, several new releases have been announced :
BB-23: Eldrago 105F (Starter) - 12/27/2008 [First left gimmick!]
BB-24: Escorpio WD145B (Booster) - 12/27/2008
BB-25: Random Booster Vol.5 Legend Pisces - 12/27/2008
BB-26: Gemios DF145FS (Booster) - 01/22/2009
BB-27: Capricorne 100HF (Booster) - 02/19/2008

As for website content, I have added the profile pages for several Holy Beasts, including Dranzer, Driger, Draciel, Trygle, Trygator, Galeon, Galux, Wolfos, Drakeos, Frankeos and Bandeos. There are high quality images for most of them.

Hobby & Manga : Metal Fight Beyblade - 10/23/08
Four updates in a month ... A record.

So, pages for Aquario, Virgo and Pisces were added. Those are new beyblades that will be released in November and December among Bey Reshuffle Sets and a Random Booster Vol. 2 (Legend Pisces). A picture for that third blade should be uploaded soon.

Furthermore, Beyblade Spirit is the first website to offer profiles for the new Metal Fight Beyblade characters : Ginga Hagane, Benkei (owns Bull 125SF), Kyouya Tategami, Daidoji and Kenta Yumiya! For the moment, each profile has the basic information known for the characters, which is basically a summary of the first and second chapters, but pictures and audio clips to help you pronounce their Japanese names are featured, so enjoy! As we get more details about the protagonists and antagonists of the new series, all of them will be added to the current profiles to keep them up-to-date.
(All links can be accessed via the Metal Fight Beyblade section on the left navigation too.)

I have also created an archive page for the CoroCoro scans Miingno kindly gives us. Hobby scans (once I get the time to properly upload them) should remain on Beyblade Spirit forever, yet manga scans would have to be at least partly removed from the site due to laws, my courteousness, and the fact that I have established contact with Adachi Takafumi : I do not think he would be happy to know that his books sell less because they are available online. We have to fully encourage Metal Fight Beyblade. By the way, if you want to tell Adachi Takafumi something about the chapters we post, send me an email or leave a comment on the forums. However, know that he does not wish to answer too many questions or questions concerning what will happen in future chapters of the manga.

Wolf, Aries and Libra update & Chapter 2 Spoilers - 10/15/08
I have updated the pages for Aries 125D, Wolf D125B and Libra DF145BS (yes, they changed the name of the Track). Here are pictures of the new Track and Bottom :

Also, I got some spoilers of the second chapter of Metal Fight Beyblade. Highlight to read :
Tategami and Ginga fight. At first, Tategami wins by using wind (?). Pegasis is sent out of the ring. It seems lost, but Ginga uses Shooting Star, which makes Leone stop spinning. (Somehow, Ginga wins ...) Ginga and Kyouya shake hands and Kenta is safe.

A helicopter comes down on the top of the building where they were battling. A mysterious figure, whose face remains hidden by the shadows, tries to kill Ginga by using Wolf. His name might be Daidoji. The building collapses. Is Ginga dead ?!

Metal Fight Beyblade CoroCoro Manga Scans - 10/06/08
Here are the latest manga scans for the new series' first chapter :
Please ask permission before using (use the contact address on the left) and/or link back to this page.

It should be quite easy to understand from just looking at the pictures (from top right to bottom left). This is the important information : Kyouya Tategami (Leone's owner) is the leader of a new group, The Face Hunters. Bull's owner (whose name remains slightly unknown to me) is also part of that group and goes around stealing and crushing beyblades. He wears traditional Japanese sandals. Both evil beybladers wear necklaces made of Wheels from beyblades they defeated. Also, Kenta does use Sagittario

Thanks to Miingno for those scans !

Metal Fight Beyblade Character Names, Affiliates, New Beyblades, Wallpapers, Avatars, Special : How To Assemble A MFBeyblade - 10/02/08
The new Beyblade Spirit is already one year old ! I should hopefully update this website more than once a month ...

Metal Fight Beyblade news :

The main character is Ginga Hagane (Ginga=Galaxy, Hagane=Steel). Most likely in grade 5.

Kenta is his green-haired friend. He is in fifth grade. Supposedly, he owns Sagittario ...

The leader of [something] is called Kyouya Tategami (Tategami=Mane).

We have two new affiliates : Cyber Tiger Anime, which is also our host, and Fire In The Ice, a detailed Kai fansite.

The Beyblade index has been updated with the new beyblades' real names (it seems they really have to be called Pegasis 105F, Bull 125SF, etc.). All currently confirmed blades were updated in a way (which includes Wolf D125B, Libra DF125BS and Aries 125D) and reviews should be written sometime soon. Quetzalcoatl 090WF was also added to the list.

New free avatars and wallpapers were added : a "Face Series". You will want to associate yourself with one of them.

A special, short section on how to build the new Metal Fight Beyblades was created here and a video was made to help players visually.

Finally, I am creating a layout that should be easier to browse and much more informative to visitors. Keep checking Beyblade Spirit !

4 Metal Fight Beyblade Characters, CoroCoro Scans & 2 Character Profiles - 09/03/08

Here are the four main characters of the new series (only Ginga(red-haired guy)'s name is known at the moment) :

Also, Miingno has provided us with scans from the last CoroCoro issue. Those can be viewed and commented on the forums.
http://z1.invisionfree.com/forums/Beyblade_Spirit/index.php?showtopic=8706&view=findpost&p=5344446

Profiles for Mao and Zangiev (Alexander) have been added too.

MFB Anime and Manga Main Character - 08/11/08

Here are pictures of the main character from the new series (his name might be Ginga) :

Happy revival of Beyblade !

Metal Fight Beyblade videos and Beyblade 2001 Cut Scene - 07/31/08

TAKARA-TOMY has updated their website. You can watch a 4 minutes movie of MFB by clicking on the icon with film strips. Also, go here to watch three more videos.

Moreover, a new cut scene has been added to the cuts and changes page. It was removed from the 40th episode of the first season.

New Metal Fight beyblades - 07/17/08

Other beyblades have been revealed : Libra(Release date: October 23rd 2008) and Aries(part of the Random Booster Vol.1, on September 18th).
I have also updated the pictures of Pegasus, Bull, Sagittario, Leone and Wolf.

New MFB Schema and Information - 07/08/08

I have updated the What is a Beyblade? page with a new, clearer schema of the new blades.

Also, new information has been posted on the Forums about the Metal Fight Beyblade. Come look!

Metal Fight Beyblade - 06/30/08

You can now discuss the new series and learn everything about it on Beyblade Spirit Forums

Metal Fight Beyblade Schema - 06/29/08

The schema for the new series on the What is a Beyblade? page was modified slightly to display a more actual picture of the beyblade parts.

Wolf - 06/25/08

I updated the picture of Wolf with the image of the actual beyblade. The other one is just a 3D render showing its general shape.

Metal Fight Beyblade & Characters - 06/19/08

I have added a section in the What is a Beyblade? page about the new series: Metal Fight Beyblade. As we get more information on it, I will properly complete it.

Profiles for Mrs. Hiwatari, Romero, Ryuunosuke Kinomiya and Tatsuya Kinomiya have been done.

The Random Clip has been updated too.

OTHER NEWS & UPDATE - 05/12/08

In short : the new Beyblade series is called "Metal Fight Beyblade"; new Beyblades (Pegasus, Cheiron, Bull and Leo) will be released on August 9th in Japan, while others (Wolf and a Random Booster, notably) will be available on September 18th; the anime that will accompany the new series will be broadcast at the beginning of January 2009.

As for the site, I have completed team Euro's member pages : Ralf, Johnny, Olivier and Giancarlo

FORMIDABLE NEWS! - 04/10/08

This is not site update yet, but I just wanted to post this here as well as on BEYUNION :

"The April 8 issue of the Nihon Keizai (Nikkei) Shimbun paper reports that Takara-Tomy is reviving the Beyblade spinning-top game franchise after a four-year hiatus this August, and will sponsor a new accompanying Beyblade anime this summer. Takara-Tomy is aiming for 20 billion yen (about US$200 million) in yearly revenue by next year, and will improve the new tops by making them out of metal instead of plastic."

Re: Rating System - 03/19/08

I fixed the new feature. The previous one did not create an average, although I thought it did.

New Interactive Feature - 03/19/08

Profiles for Lai, Rick Anderson, Michael Summers, Eddy, Emily and Steve are now up.

I have also added a new feature to the G Revolution episode summaries : you can now go rate each episode based on your own opinion, and you will be able to see what other fans think about those episodes as well. This feature should be added to the Beyblade reviews soon too. (1 star=poor, 5 stars=awesome)

Also, as always, the random clip has been changed.

01/27/08

I have finished writing the profiles for Susumu Hiwatari, Hiruta Makoto and Rick Anderson

A fanart by Raging Phoenix Rising and me was added to the page.

01/05/08

Max's profile is finally done. I might add a few more things if I think of any.

Fanarts by Raging Phoenix Rising were added, as well as a free signature and two avatars by the same person.

Re: Project STAY and Launchers - 11/24/07

Project STAY will now be called 'BEYUNION'. I rearranged the layout to hopefully make the navigation pleasant. The project is now located at http://www.cybertigeranime.com/bbspirit/BEYUNION/

Also, I put up the launchers page in the hobby section.

As usual, there is a new Random Clip, but there is also a new Anime Music Video from Raging Phoenix Rising.

Project STAY! - 11/05/07

For those who have visited the forums, you will know exactly what Project STAY is about. In any case, it is finally open! You can check it out here: http://www.cybertigeranime.com/bbspirit/Project STAY/

I would list all the site's features, but I believe you are able to do so by yourself! Join the world map, also! It will not hurt you.

Meanwhile... - 11/02/07

Just a quick update while waiting for bigger news.

The profile pages for Kennosuke Shishi, Tenmaru Shishi and Barthez's Soldiers were done. Volkov's description was slightly updated.

There are three new free avatars made by Kuznetsov for Beyblade Spirit.

We have a new affiliate: Demon Revolution, who started updating again!

Also, there is now a link on your right to a project site Kuznetsov and I did. ACT (Against Creativity Theft) basically covers most aspects of art theft.

Of course, there is a new Random Clip too.

10/18/07

Since the layout caused trouble and/or general displeasure to visitors, Kuznetsov recoded it. Hopefully people will think this is much better.

I could not do as many things for the site as I would have liked to because of schoolwork. I will try updating more often than that in the future.

For the moment, ex-webmaster Uki gave me permission to use his gallery of DVD quality screenshots. Some links have been added to the G Revolution page, and there is now a page for Beyblade 2001 screenshots.

We also have a new affiliate: Kira Kira, a very complete Ming Ming fansite.

I have added the video for Rick's Drop Rock attack in the video section. The anime music videos were also changed. There is a new Random Clip too.

Death wish made free avatars for Beyblade Spirit.

Let it also be known that I am working on fixing spelling mistakes all over the site.

There should be more content about the hobby in the next update. Keep visiting!

FINALLY - 09/30/07

Welcome to the new Beyblade Spirit!

It has been more than two years since it closed, due to many events. As a first 'update' on my part, I have a lot to explain ...

WHAT HAPPENED TO BEYBLADE SPIRIT?

Back in 2005, the previous webmaster of Beyblade Spirit 'had' to close down the site for various reasons. A few people claimed that some of the site's content was false, therefore it lost some credibility. Also, when Beholder, webmaster of dead Beyblade Damashii, made an announcement on Japanese fanart theft, he exposed part of a 'black list' that the Japanese fans had made. On this list was Beyblade Spirit, ranked second or first. Beholder said that all the members that were registered at our forums as well as Beyblade Damashii's would be banned from the latter. Since Beyblade Damashii was seen as a great source of knowledge for the Beyblade hobby, everybody prefered it over Beyblade Spirit. Many of our members just went ahead and completely disassociated themselves with Beyblade Spirit, so we lost quite a few active members, even after we had removed any possible stolen artwork from our message board. After that, there was the obvious loss of interest in Beyblade, which made people leave.

Seeing his own website go to waste even though he had given administrating powers to Vegitto, Kai/Uki/Ukiya/etc. decided to erase everything that was on the site.

WHY AM I HERE?

While everyone just complained to Uki for closing Beyblade Spirit and left the forums for good, I decided to go ahead and take over the site, since Uki had offered it to anybody he trusted. As I had been moderator on the message board, then administrator, I was almost immediately granted the position.

The reason I did this is probably because I thought such site should not just die and be forgotten. More recently, what kept me going was the interest I have for Beyblade, the fact that I wanted a site that could answer many fans' questions, and that I think some beybladers deserve a proper website since so many were just closed.

In general, my username is Kai-V; I have been a Beyblade fan for only about five years now; although I like both the hobby and anime sides, I know little about the game, so I will most probably never be writing anything about that; I prefer the Japanese version over the English dub, so I will always use the original names (there is a page about the 'conversion'); if I am not certain about something, I will make it clear that I am doubting; I will never write false content, such as claiming that some rumours are true if they obviously are not.

I truly hope you will enjoy what I have prepared for you and that you will keeping visiting, on the look-out for things to learn and updates.

WHAT IS NEW ABOUT THIS BEYBLADE SPIRIT?

Compared to the previous one, what I can say is that very little things were kept. Uki deleted a lot of content, so I had to start from nothing. Fortunately, Vegitto still had blade reviews. However, with the 'false information' claims, I can only assume that what was wrong was in those reviews, since there was barely anything else that could have been false in other pages. So information revision, with proof of some sort, is always appreciated.

I also will not be able to upload Beyblade songs for download, as on the other Beyblade Spirit, since Travaro, the owner of our host who kindly does it for free and whom I bothered with getting the whole host back some time ago, believes that we should encourage the artists by buying their albums, and I agree with him. I will however try to have an operating jukebox as soon as possible. The songs on it will most likely be alternated after some weeks.

The challenge in rebuilding a site this late, when Beyblade is not as popular as it used to be, is to still catch the fans' interest. Among the remaining beybladers, there are both beginners and veterans. I hope that what I have gathered for now is quite enough:

- Launching Techniques: Not only are there clear explanations for each move, but there are also pictures and animations. If you seriously have something more to ask, do contact me.

- Beginner and Advanced Sections: Pages for both extremes, with detailed information.

- Cuts and Changes: It is a huge page with a lot of pictures; perhaps it will cause some old computers to freeze. It has to be the most complete list of dub edits for Beyblade.

- Dub Voice Sample: For each character that appeared in G Revolution there is an icon to click to hear what their voice sounded like in English.

- Name Pronounciation: I have seen many people ask on forums "how do you say 'Kai' anyway?". And people discovered that 'Takao' was not pronounced 'Taco'. Japanese names are not easy either. Each character has the pronounciation of both their dub and original names. Do keep in mind that my specialty is only French though.

- Sprites: screenshots taken right from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade (Takao version) by krw703.

- Videos: Most special attacks in G Revolution, random clips, anime music videos, as well as battle videos in the hobby section. You can submit your own videos too.

This, plus the usual kind of pages you would expect on a Beyblade fansite.

If you have any contribution to make, you can always send us an email to beybladespirit@gmail.com or just register on http://www.invisionfree.com/forums/Beyblade_Spirit/
Any question you may have will also be answered as soon as possible.

The layout is based on the manga. I am aware that all the frames are small. If you really have problems with them (it ticks you off or something), tell me and I will consider either creating a different layout or just modifying this one. For the moment, Firefox users should be having problems seeing the layout correctly. I will try fixing that as soon as possible.

Affiliation is obviously open. If you are interested, again, send an email.

Top contributors for the site were Kuznetsov (hobby part), Raging Phoenix Rising (videos and anime articles), Flamin Kai (blade reviews and article) and myself.

The next updates should never be as long. I have purposely left undone some pages so I could add something new frequently. For instance, the profile pages for Takao, Max, Rei and Daichi are incomplete; each description should be as detailed as Kai's, so just wait until I have finished that.

Beyblade Spirit's goal is to bring you factual information, as well as to cover every part of Beyblade. Help make this true!

A SUB-SITE PROJECT

We are planning on making a side-project to Beyblade Spirit, which would focus on keeping Beyblade alive/bringing it back. This site would be called Project STAY and would contain information on what is still left of Beyblade: shops worlwide that continue selling blades and launchers, places you can buy anime DVDs and CDs (online and offline), local tournaments that are being held by beybladers, a world map of the remaining fans, etc. I am also hoping that we could have versions in many languages, as I know Beyblade is recent in some parts of Asia.

Again, any contribution is really appreciated.

REMEMBER: Recall Every Member, Every Memory Because Beyblade Emerges Reborn.
