04/08/08 - Beyblade might be returning in Japan in August, along with a new anime season. Hopefully this is not a joke :
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-04-08/beyblade-anime-to-return-after-4-years-this-summer
Still, keep waiting for actual announcement from TAKARA-TOMY or any of the companies owning some rights over Beyblade. I will be on the
lookout.
(This news sounds a lot more credible than the rumours on "F-Generation", by the way.)
02/21/08 - Beybladers who reside in the United Kingdom can watch Beyblade on the POP channel (www.popfun.co.uk). Check the site for more details on schedules.
BeyUK started a project of fandubbing, which basically consists of taking the original, Japanese episodes and adding fans' voices over the original recordings. So if you are interested in voice acting, think your voice could fit a character's personality and envision that you will have enough time in the future to record dialogues, read the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade Fan Dub page : http://www.beyuk.net/bb2000fandub.php
Thanks to all 80 people who officially joined the map !
11/23/07 - After reconsidering "Project STAY", I decided to rename this project 'BEYUNION', as a wordplay with 'Beyblade' and 'reunion' and to hightlight the union that must be formed between members of the community. The site stays the same though.
Unless you are new, you might have noticed the modified layout too. I like it better now. Thanks to beyblade-spirit.blogspot.com for the manga scan of Blader DJ and Aoki Takao, to Zii for the manga scan of Takao and Kai and to Rubellite for the screenshot of the blades. Again, coded by Kuznetsov.
A new event was added : a small store tournament in New York.
Rumour : Beyblade will supposedly air on Cartoon Network, in USA, in the beginning of January. The airing time remains unknown however: it could be in the afternoon, or at 2:00 AM ... This is not exactly official yet though.
Also, beyunion@gmail.com is our new e-mail.
11/05/07 - Welcome to Project STAY! This is Beyblade's Spirit subsite that focuses on the 'remains' of Beyblade and its communities now that Takara, Hasbro and so many other companies have suspended beyblade production.
Right now, if you have anything to contribute to the site that would be appreciated by beybladers, email us at bbsprojectstay@gmail.com
Also, make sure to join the world map! You do not have to give out real information, just don't register more than once so we can have an accurate idea of the number of remaining bladers around the world!
Thanks to Kuznetsov for coding the layout and providing a list of most remaining Beyblade websites.
IMPORTANT: We are looking for people who would translate Project STAY for free. This is so we can approach as many fans as possible, not just people who speak English! Everything about this website is done in the intention of making every beyblader somewhat happy. P.S.: All languages are accepted!
